Notifications

Events

Each action within the system raises an Event. Users and Customers can be subscribed and receive notifications when they occur.

Setting Up User Notifications

Naviate to the Users section from the Admin Menu

Admin / Users and open a User.

Workorder Notifications

When an action takes place on a workorder, it's corresponding event is raised. Each user can be subscribed with some options.

Delivery Method

Internal - notifications are delivered to the internal mailbox.

Email - an email is sent to the user's email.

SMS - an SMS is sent to the User's telephone number. (See SMS Setup for further info)

Delivery Condition

The receipt of each Event that matches a User's subscription can further be refined by a delivery condition. There are options are as follows:

Is the Owner - The User created the Workorder

In Default Location - The Workorder is in the User's default location.

In Any Location - The Workorder is in any Location that the User has access to.

System Notifications

Users may also be subscribed to Events that are not associated with a specific Workorder. These work the same as above, except they do not have a delivery condition.
