Order Dispatch

Webstore Courier Process

When a Store Order is created, its Shipments are calculated during the checkout process:

  1. Each enabled courier provides shipping options.

  2. The User selects one of the shipping methods.

  3. The order is created, and it's shipping method set to the one selected during the checkout process.

  4. The Shipment will be visible in the Inventory section in the Dispatch Ready status.

The process for dispatch are as follows:

A customer creates a Store order (as above).

  1. You Lodge the Shipment with the Courier.

  2. You Pick and Pack the Shipment's packages.

  3. Print Courier Labels and attach them to the packages.

  4. The Courier Picks up the package

  5. The Courier delivers the package

CWS Orders

Orders created in CWS can be eitehr Manual ("Track Only") or courier orders.

CWS Manual Process

  1. You create an order created from Pending Items

  2. You mark the order as Dispatch Ready

  3. You pack, Label and send the shipment

  4. You update the Courier and Tracking Information

  5. The user marks the order as complete

CWS Courier Process

  1. You create an order created from Pending Items

  2. You mark the order as Dispatch Ready

  3. You Lodge the Shipment with the Courier

  4. Print Courier Labels and attach them to the packages.

  5. The Courier Picks up the package

  6. The Courier delivers the package

Lodge the shipment with the Courier

  1. Identify and open the Order.

  2. Click the cog icon on the Shipment and select Lodge Shipment with Courier.

This will communicate the shipment's information to the courier and instruct them to pick it up. The Shipment's tracking information in CWS will be updated automatically.

Once an order has been lodge, you may print the courier supplied labels.

  1. Identify and open the Order.

  2. Click the cog icon on the Shipment and select Print Courier Labels

A new window will open with a pdf of the Labels. This may be printed using a standard A4 printer. If no windows appears, check that you aren't using any 'pop up' blocker.
