Adding New Items

Inventory Items can be added individually or in bulk

Add individual inventory item.

On the Supplier inventory panel select the Manage Suppler Catalogue

Select

Select Add New File and Populate the fields on the Template as shown

Unique Code: use code as displayed in the supplier parts list and/or exploded view. Descrip: Description of part. Use description supplied in manufacturers parts list. Category: Product Type Factory: Name of manufacturers factory Brand: Brand of the item Warehouse; name of local distributing warehouse Cost Price: Price advised by importer Trade Price: Cost price plus agreed margin Retail Price: Trade Price plus agreed margin On Back Order; Is the part able to be rdered when out of stock Yes/No

Extra Info

On the Extra Info Tab populate the fields as shown on the template below:

Factory Ident: The factory may have a separate code to that of the importer Third party Ident: the warehouse or reseller may have a third party code for the same item Barcode; Enter bar code is known. Refurbished: Is this item refurbished? Is Box Shippable: Is this part pre boxed or does it need to be placed in a box for shipping Min Stock: Is there a minimum stock holding requirement? Enter the minimum stock number. Target Stock: What is the designated stock holding? Enter number.

Web store Tab:

On the Web Store Tab populate the fields as shown on the template below:

Available Location: Is this part available for Service agents (Locations)? Available Retailer: Is the page available for the retailer to purchase? Available Public: Can the public purchase? Min Order Quantity: Is there a minimum quantity that can be purchased in a single order? Call for Price: Is this item a fixed price wit courier costs automatically calculated or does the Warehouse need to manually calculate the costs to provide to the purchase?

Weights and Measures

On the Weights and Measures Tab populate the fields as shown on the template below:

Weight: Enter weight in grams Length: Enter length in Millimeters Width: Enter width in Millimeters Depth: Enter depth in Millimeters

Storage Location On the Storage Location Tab populate the fields as shown on the template below

Zone: Section within the warehouse Aisle: Aisle name/number Level : Shelf name Section: Does this area have a name?

To Finish Click SAVE.

Bulk Upload New Inventory Items

Select Download for Bulk Upload.

The column headings on the downloaded spreadsheet must be used to enable the bulk upload.

Minimum information required

ident: Main identity number descript: Description of pat that aligns with manufacturer's part list or exploded view. product_brand: models: Where the part associates with more than one model the format is Models #||Model #||Model # category: Type of product eg oven. Populate as many columns as possible.

Save file and upload by selecting Upload Bulk Update.
